Welcome to Our Website

This website's focus is the wonderful world of the honey bee. We do not only offer our services to safely remove bee swarms that have made themselves at home in your house or other uncomfortable place, but wish to contribute to building people's knowledge on the important role that bees play in the human's living environment. It will be complemented with interesting happenings and 'bee stories'.
If you have a problem with a bee swarm at home or elsewhere, please do not spray the nest with insecticides before approaching us for advice or practical assistance - including a quotation for the removal of such a swarm.

Water meters are popular with swarms on the move and these situations are often the reason why readings are simply estimated. Although it is municipal territory, they mostly do not have people with bee removal expertise to deal with the problem.

There are several important questions and answers that we gladly share to sharpen the knowledge of people about the bee. In doing so we trust that all can work together as communities to help protect bees in the correct way. You can read these questions and answers here.

In most cases bees move into the double wall of chimneys. The air brich on the outside of bath rooms is another popular place and bee swarms can usually be removed safely with a one-way trap. As noted regarding the first photo above, municipal water meters is popular among swarms on the move. People usually leave the nests too long and they become too large to remove safely, which is the case in most nests inside the roof area. If a nest is sprayed [not the ideal] with a degradable insecticide, other swarms in the area will benefit from the decreased competition for nectar.
•    However, all nests leave an odour which tells swarms on the move that it is a suitable place for a nest.
•    For this reason, we provide people with a treatment schedule to decrease the probability that of new swarms moving in, or at best, prevent it alltogether.
•    The treatment is not poisonous, costs almost nothing and can be administered people themselves.

Soos by die eerste foto hierbo vermeld is, is watermeters is baie populêr by trekswerms.
